Building a brand new digital experience for the Invesco global talent brand.

The Challenge

The challenge presented to the team was to create a new career site experience within the Invesco brand that was dynamic, fresh and interesting for potential employees, but still clean and easy to navigate. The client gave the team pages of detailed information that had to be included. And the information was different for each of Invesco’s four global regions.

The Solution

The talent brand is built on the recently redesigned Invesco brand (which was honestly a great starting point) and a rough sitemap to create two sites - one for internal applicants and one for external applicants, each customizable to four global regions. Underneath all of this was a structural framework and set of design patterns that allowed flexibility in content while maintaining the overall look and integrity of the site design. The resulting site design is a rough template. We built it for one of the regions, and then used that system to create the remainder.

In addition to the overall site design, this site also establishes a look and feel for things that hadn’t been included in the previous careers site — infographic features, accordion menus to hide lengthy copy content, customized tabbed sections, styles for lists beyond basic bullets, the behavior and appearance of menus and interactions, load/scroll animations, and imagery.

An interactive map that allows job seekers to search for jobs by cities Invesco operates in was planned, but will be executed at a future date.
